The 2023 Intergalactic Flying Scot Race of Champions will be hosted by LKSC on Lake Kegonsa on Oct 7th (rain date Oct 8th). Skippers will sail their own boats and will be assigned a crew at random. Some crew will be experienced, some may not. Bring along your regular crew, friends, neighbors, anyone that you’d like to introduce to sailing at this fun one day regatta! Join us after the 3:00 race today for a Flying Scot Speed Secrets seminar given by Jim Colegrove, Flying Scot District Governor.We will start at 4:30 at the club pier and begin with best practices for rigging for speed. After that, we will get out on the water for some coaching. Finish things off with some Q&A.Everyone is invited. There will be a pontoon chase boat you can hop on if you can’t get on one of Flying Scots. BYOB for the event.Rain date is Monday evening. Wind looks light for both days, but we may get lucky.
