SUMMARY:Dinghy Derby
DESCRIPTION:The annual Dinghy Derby is a lot of fun and everyone has a great time!!  We take the list of people who registered for the event and split them up into even teams.  Each team is assigned a dinghy and we line the boats up on the starting line with the first sailor in the boat and other team members holding on to their boat.  At the sound of the gun we release the boats and they take a lap around the course.  When they get back to the starting line the sailor in the boat jumps out and a new team member jumps in and takes their run around the course.  After each race the teams will switch boats so they get to sail a different boat in the subsequent races.  This goes on until all team members have completed the course.    After the races have completed we will all enjoy some beverages and share stories and laughs at the Social hosted by Alan Carlson.  All LKSC members are invited to the Social at 5:00PM. Every clue you solve brings us one step closer to filling pantry shelves and making a real difference in our community. \nEvent Format\nAll participants will be split into teams. Each team sails its own boat and navigates using a series of clues. Follow each clue to advance through the scavenger hunt\, culminating at our lakeside dinner spot. After dusk\, we’ll return to our brightly lit boats for a magical night sail under the stars. \nLocation\nSkipper’s meeting at 2156 Colladay Point\, Stoughton\, WI 53589.
