SUMMARY:Lake Kegonsa Flying Scot Intergalactic Sailing Regatta
DESCRIPTION:The 2025 Intergalactic Flying Scot Race of Champions will be hosted by LKSC on Lake Kegonsa on September 27th. Skippers will sail their own boats and will be assigned a crew at random. Some crew will be experienced\, some may not. Bring along your regular crew\, friends\, neighbors\, anyone that you’d like to introduce to sailing at this fun regatta! SUMMARY:Dinghy Derby
DESCRIPTION:The annual Dinghy Derby is a lot of fun and everyone has a great time!!  We take the list of people who registered for the event and split them up into even teams.  Each team is assigned a dinghy and we line the boats up on the starting line with the first sailor in the boat and other team members holding on to their boat.  At the sound of the gun we release the boats and they take a lap around the course.  When they get back to the starting line the sailor in the boat jumps out and a new team member jumps in and takes their run around the course.  After each race the teams will switch boats so they get to sail a different boat in the subsequent races.  This goes on until all team members have completed the course.    After the races have completed we will all enjoy some beverages and share stories and laughs at the Social hosted by Alan Carlson.  All LKSC members are invited to the Social at 5:00PM.
