RULES: The regatta will be governed by the rules as defined in the RRS 2013-2016.
ENTRIES: Before May 1, 2014: $40 for LKSC Members, $50 for Non-LKSC Members. A full refund minus $18 for the regatta souvenir hat is available upon request.
After May 1: $45 for LKSC members, $55 for Non-LKSC Members. A $15 refund (along with the souvenir hat) will be issued upon request.
Entry fee must be paid before the Competitor’s Briefing for the first race in which the boat will compete. Please note: to guarantee a souvenir hat, you must pre-register.
Pre-Registration can be done via the LKSC web-site. On-Site Registration will take place at the Gray’s residence, 2271 Williams Point Drive, Stoughton, WI. Registration fee includes: Race fee, one regatta souvenir hat, lunch, and post-race party with food and beverage. Additional meal packages for crew, friends, or family are available for $15 ($11 for lunch and $4 for the post race party). Extra hats may be available at the event, but to insure you get one you must pre-register.
FLEETS: All boats are welcome. A minimum of four yachts of the same design will constitute a fleet. A fleet of fewer than the required number of entries will be regarded as having failed to form and will be placed in the Portsmouth Handicap fleet.
MEASUREMENT: Yachts racing One Design will comply with all requirements of the relevant class association. Yachts racing in a handicap fleet will comply with all of the requirements of the handicap system.
SAILING INSTRUCTIONS: The Sailing Instructions will be available at the Competitor’s Briefing at 10 am near the Pleasant Springs Launch.
NOTICES TO COMPETITORS: Notices to Competitors will be posted on the official Race Information Notice Board at the Gray’s Residence, 2271 Williams Point Dr, Stoughton 53589, next to the Pleasant Springs Launch.
SCORING: The Low-Point Scoring System of RRS Appendix A will apply. One race will constitute a series. No scores will be excluded. This modifies RRS Appendix A.
PRIZES: First place in each class will be awarded a prize. Other prizes will be at the discretion of Race Committee.
DOCKING, LAUNCHING, AND ACCOMMODATIONS: Any fees for parking and launching your boat at the Pleasant Springs Launch will be paid for by the LKSC. Launch and parking facilities are also available at Lake Kegonsa State Park and requires a daily sticker.
RACE AREA: Racing will be in Lake Kegonsa. Classes will be grouped in starts according to size and speed. Fleets may race different courses in the same area, at the discretion of Race Committee. Combinations of windward/leeward and triangles maybe sailed.

2:00 pm Warning Signal for Race 2. Other races to follow.
5:00 pm Tentative time for awards at Gray’s Residence. Food and libations.
