Charity Sailing Scavenger Hunt for Stoughton Food Pantry

The LKSC August Fun Event is coming up on Saturday August 15th–be sure to mark your calendar! Sailors become Vikings for a day of sailing to and pillaging loot from piers. Since the loot will consist of nonperishable food items, all the plundering will benefit the Stoughton Food Pantry.

However, there is a nice prize for the boat that pillages the most! It will be awarded at a party at Springers at the end of the race. Viking costumes are encouraged but optional, water weapons add to the fun–and pack your solar string lights for the sail home from Springers.

We do have room for crew on sailboats, but since this is a combined event with Waubesa Sailing Club,  an RSVP is necessary to guarantee we get everyone on a boat. Boats will rig at 2pm and reach the committee boat by 3pm.
